Coach Training & Certification Requirements

Coaches are required to be certified for the level of play they coach. Additionally all coaches and assistance coaches are required to complete Safe Haven certification training. Full specific training requirements for AYSO coaches for each and and level of coaching can be found on the Area 11-Q Coach Training page.

Additional training classes will be added as needed. If you see a class above that you need to take, please contact your division coordinator and once we get enough numbers another will be scheduled.

Area Q SuperCamp

U12, Intermediate and Advanced Coach training is avaialble at OCC beginning on Aug 17th. Full details are available on the Area Q website at ayso11q.org. U12 coaches need the U12 training, U14 coaches need the Intermediate training and U16/19 coaches need the advanced training.

National Coach Course Attendance Policy

If you are a Coach Instructor and/or Advanced Coach with several years of experience and wish to apply for this course, see the Region 96 Policy on obtaining Regional Commissioner approval as stated in the Training Matrix for the National Coach Course.
